South Korean winger Yang Min-hyeok has arrived in London ahead of a move to Tottenham Hotspur a month earlier than the club had previously planned.

Spurs have completed the signing of Min-hyeok from Gangwon FC last summer on a contract that runs until 2030. The
18-year-old was originally due to join Ange Postecoglou’s side in January but arrived in London ahead of schedule on Monday.
Yang Min-hyeok, the 18-year-old South Korean winger, has arrived in London earlier than planned to commence training with Tottenham Hotspur. Initially scheduled to join the club in January 2025, Yang’s arrival has been expedited to mid-December, allowing him to acclimate to his new environment and integrate with the squad ahead of schedule.
Before departing from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, Yang expressed his excitement about the opportunity to play alongside Tottenham’s captain and fellow South Korean, Son Heung-min. The forward, who has 23 caps for his country’s under-17 side, will not be able to make an official appearance for Spurs until January 1.
Min-hyeok is in his first season with Gangwon, having scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances and in March became the youngest scorer in the K League.
“I’m excited to join Tottenham. It will be an honour to play alongside Son,” he told reporters upon departure from Incheon International Airport.
“I can picture myself in that picture. Can’t wait to show people what I can do. And I left in the middle of the season so my focus is on my recovery. “
