‘Immobile’ set to sign 1+1 year contract with Bologna

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ciro Immobile has agreed a deal to join Serie A side Bologna on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.

Italian and Turkish media outlets are reporting. That Immobile is set to return to Italy to sign for Bologna after a season with Besiktas in Turkey.

It was reported on Wednesday that Immobile travelled to Istanbul. This afternoon to finalise the terms of his contract termination with Besiktas.

The 35-year-old has scored 201 goals in Serie A. Ranking him eighth all-time among the top scorers in the Italian top flight. He is expected to sign a one-year deal with the option of a further year.

Immobile now needs just four goals to level with Italian legend Roberto Baggio. And eight more to level with Antonio Di Natale in sixth place.

The former Lazio captain has scored 15 goals in 30 league appearances for Besiktas. And has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.
