Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta supports the cancellation of the FA Cup replay format. Which will take effect from next season. Because it helps extend the lifespan of players throughout the season.

The organizers of England’s oldest football competition have announced that from the 2024-25 season onwards there will be no new competition. It comes into effect immediately for the first round of matches and will only kick off this weekend. UFABET 

From the beneficiary’s perspective, the Spanish coach raised his two armpits to support the change.

“Personally, I have to protect my players first. Especially when you look at the number of minutes played, games played in the last two seasons without a break.”

“If it continues like that it is not good for health.”  

“Definitely, one way or another. It must reduce the competition calendar, not just the English FA Cup.” 

Just take the 2023-24 season, Arteta’s Arsenal has played 46 matches in four competitions. Even though there is still a month left in the queue to play.
